Derains & Gharavi will be hosting the 2nd Edition of the Lusophones’ Arbitration Meeting on Thursday 4 April 2019 from 4:30 pm until 6:30 pm (Centre Etoile Saint Honoré, 21-25, rue Balzac, 75008 Paris, Salon Boréal), during the Paris Arbitration Week (PAW).
This year the participants will discuss “The New Digital Economy and Arbitration”, with three Panels about the following subtopics:
Panel I: Dispute Resolution in the “New” Digital Economy (NDE)
Panel II: Blockchain, Smart Contracts and Arbitration
Panel III: Predictions and Big Data: Expectations, Possibilities and Limits in Arbitration

Esta conferencia intitulada “Jeux Olympiques 2024 – 5 ans” tratará de los asuntos legales de los juegos olímpicos y tendrá lugar en la Universidad de la Sorbonne, el 21 de marzo de 2019 en París.
Hamid Gharavi intervendrá sobre el tema de las sanciones comerciales durante la conferencia “22nd IBA Arbitration Day conference: “Beyond the Governing Law: Mandatory Rules, Lois de police, Trade Sanctions and Other Conflicts of Laws”, que tendrá lugar en Montreal, Canadá, los 14 y 15 de marzo de 2019.
Yves Derains intervendrá sobre el tema de la “Evolucion de la teoria de las partes no signatorias, pluralidad de partes y su aplicacion práctica en America Latina” durante el decimo Congreso de Arbitraje Internacional X CAI Costa Rica dedicado al “Análisis de la última década: lecciones, tendencias y retos” y organizado por la CCI Costa Rica, del 24 al 27 de febrero de 2019 en San José, Costa Rica.
