Escipión is an associate at Derains & Gharavi specialised in international arbitration. His areas of practice include international commercial disputes and investment arbitration. He has represented the Dominican Republic in international arbitrations under the Vice Ministry of Foreign Investment and acted in proceedings conducted under the arbitration rules of the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Permanent Cour of Arbitration (PCA) and UNCITRAL.
Escipión holds an LLM in International Dispute Settlement (MIDS) from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies and an LLB from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre Y Maestra University in Santo Domingo.
